PORTSOURCING - Associação das Empresas de Outsourcing de Portugal (hereafter referred as Portugal Outsourcing) was constituted last September 2008.
One of the main priorities of Portugal Outsourcing is to contribute towards improving practices and developing outsourcing services in Portugal, thus establishing, through the present Code of Conduct, the principles that should regulate the activity of Portugal Outsourcing Associate Companies (henceforth named "Business Members").

CHAPTER I
General Dispositions
Article 1
(Application Scope)
Business Members must fulfil all guidelines established by the present Code of Conduct, within their BPO activity offering added value and resources to information and communication technologies.
Article 2
(Standards Nature and Value)
1. Policy standards of the present Code of Conduct aim the implementation of practices and professional conducts in the extent of Outsourcing activity by every Business Member.
2. Besides adopting all standards settled by this Code of Conduct, Business Members shall fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations and professional standards suitable within the scope of their respective activities.
3. Business Members must also adjust provided Outsourcing Services to politics and procedures developed by their Customers, and by them accepted, since not contrary to what is foreseen by the law.
4. Business Members must encourage their employees and subcontractors, as well as their subcontractor’s employees, to conduct in accordance with this Code of Conduct.
